Fantasy Opera Draft is the first event of its kind, that we know of! It is our aim at Opéra Louisiane to provide unique and interactive opportunities for our singers and audience to connect, especially during this time. We hope everyone enjoys getting to know these incredible singers. We look forward to featuring them all throughout the season.
The draft is open August 14-30th with a live draft announcement on Monday, August 31st. Once cast, The Barber of Seville is produced in a cinematic style virtual performance and premiered on Friday, October 16th. The Lunch with Leanne series begins November 16th. Tickets will be available at OperaLouisiane.com starting August 31st.

The singers have been assigned to particular roles based on their voice types and the artistic director’s casting choices.
The selected singers all auditioned for Opéra Louisiane productions in recent years. Many of them have performed with Opéra Louisiane in the past.
Do not worry, we can fix this. Please send your name, the number of votes, and the name of the singer whom you wish to vote for to admin@operalouisiane.com. We would be happy to make the change for you.
Yes. Just be sure to click the box to the left of the person’s name for whom you want to vote before changing the quantity of votes you want to donate.
Unfortunately, not. However, there is no limit on the number of votes you can donate or you can support Opéra Louisiane by choosing to donate an additional amount before your checkout to support students attending Opéra Louisiane’s educational performances for FREE.
The Barber of Seville will be premiered on October 16th in a virtual format. Tickets to access the link will go on sale, along with the rest of our season, on Monday, August 31st.
